Dried Lavender Wedding Favors Display

The idea of Flying Little Birds Handmade Wedding Favor Collection is to offer favors that allow guests to bring home an extension of your Big Day celebration. Serving as double duty favors, the possibilities to style a reception are endless, as they can also be used as name tags or escort cards.

Displaying the favors as escort cards is an original way to wow guests as an element of surprise on the decor. Here we brought an example of how hanging the dried lavender favors on a beautiful cherry blossom branches, can add personality in the ceremony decor.

The Pantone Color of the Year for 2018, the UltraViolet 18-3838, is a “dramatically provocative and thoughtful purple shade” that sets the standard for a modern and elegant wedding ceremony and reception.

Keeping the various design elements clean and at a minimum will let this vibrant color set the tone for an original celebration!

1. Flying Little Birds Favors bring an special touch to the table set as the dried lavender pouches have a double duty as favors and name tags. The cotton pouches are filled with dried lavender seeds, personalized cotton paper tags and are tied with gorgeous aubergine silk ribbon. These beauties match nicely the ultra violet color palette.

2. The cake selected from Crummb follows the marble trend that will continue in 2018. The bold color and clean lines make a simple yet elegant statement.

3. Bridesmaid dresses with different shades of purple can perfectly match the Ultra Violet wedding color scheme making the most beautiful combination of tons.

4. A winter bridal bouquet made of white anemones, navy thistle, silver brunia. Do you love a more traditional bouquet? Add white garden roses, ranunculus. Yes, it will look lovely!

5. The first experience your guests will have on your big day, is when they receive their "Save the Date' invitations. Calligraphy and bold purple envelopes that follow the color scheme create a vibrant and sophisticated look. Adding a marble linen paper and have it sealed with wax are a double plus!

6. Don't forget to add a delicate splash of color with an amethyst earring. Our pick is from Tiffany. Could it be more glamorous than this?

Last Spring we had the pleasure of planning, designing and styling a beautiful First Communion reception which turned out to be one of our favorites designs. From the floral centerpieces and original favors to the delicious cake and treats, all was carefully designed to bring a lovely atmosphere to this intimate family celebration.

A 8' teal wall served as a canvas background to the reception. White birch trees, pale peach flowers, long farm tables and dust blue accent were the main elements of the design, that brought a simple, yet elegant and soft approach to this cherished celebration.

Not to mention the super adorable name tags that were a big hit among the guests.

Loose floral arrangements of green textures with garden roses, peony and other seasonal flowers in shades of pale peach and white softened the look of the farm table.

So many cute details brought unexpected surprises to the guests. Flying Little Birds' First Communion Favors added a charming detail to the tablescape. And mini bottles filled with Holy Water were also distributed as keepsake of this special day.

Not to mention the super adorable name tags that were a big hit among the guests.

The lunch began with a Spring Dandelion Salad and continued with a choice of Seared Sea Bass or Beef Filet and Short Rib.

The cake table was simply d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s!

For the convenience of bringing home all the cute favors, little acrylic suitcases were placed around the reception.

And here is Miss Chloe in her special day. No words to mention how emotional was to design this beautiful First Communion celebration for Chloe and her family.
